Meet Connie Sivaly: The Heart of Comfort Care Foundation

In 2017, Connie Sivaly channeled her passion for social justice and her deep personal faith into founding the Comfort Care Foundation. This decision was catalysed by what she observed within her community, compelling her to action.

As a Tanzanian native who now calls Australia home, Connie’s familial experiences, notably as one of thirteen children and as a mother to her three sons, John Mark, Timothy, and Christian, have deeply influenced her advocacy work.

Connie’s educational background is as vast as her compassion, with three Master’s degrees, an MPhil, and ongoing PhD. studies at Charles Sturt University. These qualifications have equipped her to better serve the communities of Footscray and Wyndham, where she has become a valuable member.

The Comfort Care Foundation’s suite of programs directly addresses the needs of men, women, and children from all walks of life. Through initiatives such as the ‘Motivational Corner,’ we offer emotional support and guidance. Our ‘Youth Empowerment Programs’ equip young individuals with the skills for success. The ‘Homeless Breakfast Club’ ensures that no one starts their day hungry, and our food banks in Wyndham provide a vital lifeline to families in need.
